A recital by pianist Clare Hammond

Acclaimed as a “pianist of extraordinary gifts” (Gramophone) and “immense power” (The Times), Clare Hammond is recognised for the virtuosity and authority of her performances. In 2016, she won the Royal Philharmonic Society's 'Young Artist Award' in recognition of outstanding achievement and in 2020 she was engaged to perform at the International Piano Series (Southbank Centre). 

Also featuring the Gloucestershire Youth Orchestra, conducted by Jon Trim.

Gloucestershire Youth Orchestra was formed in 1951 and is one of the county music groups run by Gloucestershire Music (local authority music service).

The orchestra rehearses on Friday evenings during term-time, and may give as many as six concerts a year, performing programmes that range from the 18th century to the present day.

Interval drinks will be available and there will be a raffle.
