Sharing a creative experience with a family member can be huge fun! This workshop is suitable for adults and children over 7. This workshop introduces the method of hand building and creating shapes with the use of a simple former. Once the basic structure has been created the surface of the clay can be carved into and coil additions added.
The day will introduce you to a variety of techniques whilst giving the opportunity to explore individual creative ideas. It is ideal for a beginner with no previous experience however those who are more familiar with clay will also enjoy exploring the variety of decorative methods and ideas.
Bring pictures and ideas along to inspire you , the day promises to be packed with information. Teaching will be through demonstration and a step by step guide and will be adapted to each participants requirements. Come along and create your own amazing ceramic pot.
