stroud film society presents: honeyland

Set in a remote land, where rural Macedonians live in ways unfamiliar in the West, "Honeyland" has a strong ecological message, conveyed via the life story of the woman at the centre of the film. Hatidze tends bees, sells half of their honey and looks after her mother until the arrival of new neighbours who cause chaos and potential disaster.
