patsy gamble jazz trio & adam horovitz
Having last performed together a decade ago at the Nailsworth Festival, the Patsy Gamble Jazz trio and Adam Horovitz reunite to present a free-flowing night of jazz, poetry and jazz-poetry in which words and music intertwine and play off each other.
The trio features Patsy Gamble on Saxophone, Alex Steele on keyboards and Paul Wigens on drums – between them they have played across continents and with musicians such as Mick Jagger, Mike D’Abo, Viv Albertine and Natacha Atlas.
Adam Horovitz grew up surrounded by jazz musicians and poets, and has collaborated with musicians almost as long as he has been writing and performing. He has published three books of poetry, the latest in 2021, Love and Other Fairy Tales.
Born and raised in Stroud, Patsy Gamble is a much in demand session saxophonist, vocalist and composer. She was a finalist in the British Blues Awards in 2011 and 2012 and has performed and recorded all over the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
