venue - The Sub Rooms
“This is food for everyone – it’s the food I’m excited about, it’s the food I like to cook at home.”
So says Michelin-starred chef, British pub champion and food poverty campaigner Tom Kerridge of his new cookbook, “Pub Kitchen”, which contains a feast of recipes designed to bring pub food to the home kitchen.
In our lip-smacking launch event at the Sub Rooms, we are thrilled to be hosting an in-conversation with Gloucestershire-born Tom. He’ll be giving us his view from the pub kitchen, and reflecting on a lifetime of creating good, honest food.
During the event, we’ll also be hearing from Lotte Lyster and Miles Connolly from award-winning Stroud local, The Prince Albert, who featured in Tom’s 2020 BBC TV series, “Saving Britain’s Pubs”. And from Tom Herbert, baker and co-founder of The Long Table.
Pay it forward:
If you would like to support the wonderful work of The Long Table, you can opt to pay our enhanced ticket price of £20. This funds a meal voucher for someone who needs it, as well as a ticket to the event for you.
Our wonderful chef Lynsey will be serving up a very special pre-show dinner in Central Bar & Kitchen, featuring recipes from Tom Kerridge's new cookbook.
