Access


We have level or ramped access to the front of the building and a lift to the Ballroom. The adapted toilet is on the ground floor. This toilet also has a changing table installed. Parking for Blue Badge Holders is close by. There is a hearing loop in the Ballroom and the George Room.


Getting here


Bus into Stroud

There are two bus stops very close to The Sub Rooms, one on Rowcroft, near Lloyds Bank and the other on Russell Street outside Peacocks. It is less than a one- minute walk to The Sub Rooms from these bus stops.

Train into Stroud

The train station in Stroud is right in the town centre, only a 2 minute walk away from The Sub Rooms. Simply turn left out of the station, turn right onto Rowcroft, and then second right onto George street.

Travelling by car

If you’re driving, we recommend:

From the M5 – Leave the M5 at junction 13, and follow the signposted route along the A419 right into the centre of Stroud.

Parking

The Sub Rooms has a variety of Car Parks within a few minutes walk of the Venue. Cheapside is based behind the Train Station and by crossing the footbridge The Sub Rooms is only a 3 minute walk away. Brunel Mall & Parliment Street car parks are also relatively close. For Access parking there are a number of spaces to the rear of the building in Bedford Street car park.
