Celebrating Women in Music

The Sub Rooms is proudly run by a majority female team, who, in a huge variety of roles, cover all aspects of operating this dear old venue.

Despite this majority within our organisation and many similar organisations across the country - in the music industry at large, women still face many challenges in career progress and longevity.

We have some absolutely fantastic female musical talent taking to the ballroom stage through our next September to December brochure, so we wanted to take a moment to shine a light on them, highlight their musical achievements and start getting excited for their performances!
