Dear Friends of The Subs,

Now we’ve got beastly January out of the way, we need to tell you about lots of opportunities to inform, educate and entertain yourselves at your lovely local venue.

If you haven’t got your ticket to Stroud’s 2nd coolest party of the year yet (Shindig 1st obvs), we suggest you head to the Good on Paper website 'toot sweet' before it’s too late. There’s only a few tickets left and an opportunity to see the incredible Anna Meredith should not be missed.

Also, our friends John, Julie & Ben from Stroud Music & Culture Bookclub launch their new Pop Up, SubCulture over the weekend of March 25th/26th and quite honestly the only way to describe it is WOW...

There's lots of interesting authors/artists involved, including the legendary maverick music producer Trevor Horn, Lucy O’Brien on Karen Carpenter, John Higgs with The Beatles & Bond, Lias Saoudi of Fat White Family, and the National Treasure that is Bez - fantastic.

And, if that wasn’t enough, we've got lots of great music, brilliant films, comedy, spoken word, Pop Divas, and the one & only Marty Wilde – still rocking at 83.
