An Introduction to Whisky with Cyrus Johnstone

For anyone new to, or less familiar with Scotch whisky, Cyrus Johnston will be hosting ‘An Introduction to Scotch’ at the Subscription Rooms during festival weekend.  

Cyrus lives local to Stroud and has spent many years working with the drinks industry, including some of the worlds biggest Scotch whisky brands. In this session he’ll help those less initiated and curious about Scotch to build their knowledge by taking them through some of the basics.  

Alongside learning about the history, production and Scotch Whisky regions, there will also be some tasting of typical examples to help with soaking it all up.
