DEJA VU by The Wandering Hearts

A Celebration of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young

The Wandering Hearts – the award-winning Americana band from the UK – are set to embark on a special tour in 2026 celebrating one of the most iconic records of all time.

Following the success of their album reinterpreting Déjà Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young earlier this year, the band will perform seminal 1970 record in full, as well as a set of timeless classics from era-defining artists including The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, The Hollies and America.

Released in March 1970, Déjà Vu is widely considered a cornerstone of modern folk-rock, blending intricate harmonies, socially conscious songwriting and genre-defining musicianship. Featuring songs such as Teach Your Children, Helpless and Our House, the album cemented Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young as one of the most influential supergroups of their era, shaping the sound of a generation.

The Wandering Hearts have established themselves as one of the UK’s most innovative Americana groups. Championed by Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2, the trio of Tara Wilcox, Chess Whiffin and AJ Dean have twice reached No 1 in Official Charts’ Americana/Country Chart, and been nominated for Album Of The Year at the UK Americana Awards. They’ve shared stages with the likes of Tom Petty, Eagles, Robert Plant and John Prine, and have touring the States in 2024 with Lissie.

The Wandering Hearts’ reinterpretation of Déjà Vu was released earlier this year, with MOJO hailing it as ‘A tribute crafted with deep love and respect… an impressively stately tilt at the original’, and Shindig! Magazine stating ‘Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s 1970 album Déjà Vu possesses such an iconic status that it takes some artistic ability and daring to reinvent the album. The Wandering Hearts have both’.

On bringing Déjà Vu to life, The Wandering Hearts say:

‘The three of us have always loved the record as it came from a time and place in music that we all grew up loving. It is SO of its time and also so ahead of its time. As a vocal harmony group, we have always held CSNY in the highest of esteem and admired their complex and soaring vocal arrangements as well as song writing.’
