An evening with Elizabeth McGovern and Ann Cusack

Elizabeth McGovern and Ann Cusack set to premiere new music show.  

Combining original songs written by McGovern and her band, “Sadie and the Hotheads” and the Classic Blues that Cusack performs with “The Generation Jones Band”, the two women will talk about their decades long friendship in a changing world.  

Elizabeth McGovern’s career spans theatre, film, television and music. For her work, she has been nominated for Academy, Emmy, and Golden Globe awards, and has won three SAG ensemble awards. She has recently reprised her role as Lady Cora Crawley in the third Downton Abbey film, which is set for release in September, 2025. McGovern also fronts and writes songs for her band “Sadie and the Hotheads”, and has performed globally with them. The band have released four albums and are currently working on their fifth. 

Ann Cusack has appeared in a variety of roles in film and television spanning three decades. A versatile actress, she has been in every genre of TV and film, carried series, as well as independent films, and, currently can be seen in such shows as Better Call Saul, The Boys, on Amazon, and Ripley on Netflix. In films, she has worked with a smorgasbord of actors, including Tom Hanks in Sully, Jake Gyllenall in Nightcrawler, and Matt Damon in The Informant. In 2021, Cusack formed “Ann Cusack and the Generation Jones Band”, and has performed with them numerous times in Los Angeles.
