Future Tense: Poetry Night

Jack Cooper, Bethany Handley & Oluwaseun Olayiwola

We present an electric evening of conversation and live poetry from three of the most exciting, emerging voices on the British poetry scene. All three poets on our programme have won Eric Gregory Awards, prestigious prizes awarded annually for a collection by a poet under 30. With past winners who include such luminaries as Seamus Heaney, Carol Ann Duffy, and Alice Oswald, they are a sure marker of poetry promise.

Jack Cooper is a poet and science communicator from Bristol. His debut poetry pamphlet is Break the Nose of Every Beautiful Thing.

Bethany Handley is an author, poet and disability activist from Monmouthshire. Her debut poetry pamphlet is Cling Film.
