Re-connected

THE CARDUCCI QUARTET, THE DAVE AYRE TRIO ft. ANTHONY BURTON

An extra treat - join us at 7pm for a preshow talk with Paul McLaughlin interviewing Anthony Burton. Come and find out about Anthony's inspiration behind his poetry and his fascinating career ahead of the exciting concert Re-connected!

Following on from the success in 2022 of the journey through our local heritage and the music it inspired, we now take you on a very different journey exploring the emotions created in us, the audience, by the power of the performing arts.

An exhilarating exploration of musical styles from our local and internationally renowned classical and jazz musicians The Carducci Quartet, Dave Ayre, his son James, and the super-talented pianist Tom Berge.

Written especially for this programme, writer and broadcaster Anthony Burton delivers words from the heart expressing the range of emotions music inspires. Be prepared for passionate and sensitive performances of poignant, nostalgic, uplifting, awe inspiring, sorrowful and profoundly moving music and spoken word.
