Do you love monsters? How about princesses? And sharks? You’ll meet them all in the fantastic interactive event where you get to choose what happens. Author Sarah Coyle will introduce Zara, the star of her latest book book – “Pick a Story: A Monster Princess Shark Adventure” which is packed with twists and turns, and hilarious characters. Zara has lost her beloved Old Ted. But was he taken by a monster, pinched by a princess or snapped by a shark? Well….you are in charge of the story, and get to decide!
We are delighted to invite you to Stroud Sub Rooms for our 2024 Schools’ Days. As usual, we are offering a choice of attending in-person or live online; there will be a warm welcome whichever you choose!

Digital only pass: £35 per class per event
While we’re very happy to invite students to join us for live events in The Sub Rooms, we also understand that many schools are not able to join us in person. So we are once again pleased to offer you the opportunity to join us virtually for our live stream instead.
To purchase digital passes, please email shannon@stroudbookfestival.org.uk, telling us which events you would like to stream, and we will forward payment information, a book list and then streaming links closer to the festival.
You can book secure in the knowledge that if you need to cancel live tickets for any reason, we will offer you the opportunity to transfer your tickets to digital access.
