Wotton Auction Rooms Valuation Day

Suggested Donation of £10pp

All that glitters is not gold

Wotton Auction Rooms auctioneer & valuer Joseph Trinder and television’s Izzie Balmer, Independent valuer, auctioneer and jewellery specialist return to The Sub Rooms for a Summer valuation day - raising funds to support the vital ongoing work of The Sub Rooms.

Ever wondered what your family heirlooms are worth or wanted to find out more about your antiques, jewellery or decorative arts? Do you have any jewellery, wristwatches or coins that you aren’t sure about and would like some further information?

We invite you to join us on Saturday the 26th of July between 9am and 3pm. Bring along any jewellery, wristwatches, silver, coins, antiques or any other curiosities for valuation by the expert duo.

We ask that everyone attending makes a donation to support our important ongoing work at The Sub Rooms within the local community (suggested £10 per person).

Like The Sub Rooms, Wotton Auction Rooms is a local business with Gloucestershire heritage stretching back well into the 19th century. Any items valued during this event can be consigned for sale through Wotton Auction Rooms on the day, should you wish to do so.

With their trusted experience coupled with technical innovation, all items consigned for auction are ensured to reach their full value in today’s ever-evolving international market.

Jospeh Trinder is an auctioneer & valuer with well over a decade’s experience in the auction world. A local lad, starting his auction career in Wotton-under-Edge at the age of just 16 he has since held prominent positions in leading auction houses across the UK, returning to the Cotswolds and Wotton Auction Rooms as joint owner and managing director in 2023.

You will very likely recognise Izzie Balmer from her regular appearances in The BBC’s Antiques Roadtrip, Bargain Hunt, Flog It and The Travelling Auctioneers. When not filming, Izzie is a highly respected independent auctioneer and valuer specialising in jewellery.
